Amala Paul Busy with Two Superstars of South

Malayalam actress Amala Paul is busy shooting with superstars of south - her upcoming movie, Thalaiva, has two superstars of South, Mohanlal and Vijay. Amala, who debuted as Beena in Lal Jose's Neelathamara has a number of hits to her credit. Her latest film, Nayak in Telugu, is a super hit. So was her last Malayalam movie opposite Mohanalal, 'Run Baby Run' by Joshi. Her other hits include Myna, Vettai and Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi.

Amala is currently doing two Tamil films and two Telugu films, with superstars like Vijay, Mohanlal and Allu Arjun. Her success in the Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil movies has established her as one of the most sought after leading ladies of South Indian cinema.

Rajinikanth Appreciates Chennaiyil Oru Naal team

After watching the movie Chennaiyil Oru Naal at a special screening, superstar Rajnikanth was heard praising the entire team behind the film. He also pointed out that the film has effectively portrayed the importance of organ donation.

Rajnikanth said in a statement: "We don't realize the importance of our body parts. After death, instead of wasting these parts, if we choose to donate them, then it might very likely save a life. I congratulate the team of Chennaiyil Oru Naal for making a responsible film on the importance of organ donation."

The film is a remake of Malayalam hit film 'Traffic', which was, in turn, inspired by a real-life incident. The story revolves around the efforts to transport the heart of a donor within 90 minutes, to save another life.

Directed by debutante Shaheed Khader, the film has an ensemble cast consisting of Sarath Kumar, Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Prasanna Venkatesan, Parvathi Menon, Iniya, Jayaprakash, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, Mano Bala, Prakash Raj, Santhana Bharati and Surya. 

Kochadaiyaan Movie Update 

Director Soundarya has denied the reports that the teaser of Kochadaiyaan, starring her father superstar Rajnikanth will be released on the occasion of Tamil New Year. She tweeted that the news that the teaser would be released on April 14th is a rumor. She added that the team of Kochadaiyaan is working hard to release the trailer of the film soon. She had also said that some new stills can be expected next week.

Kochadaiyaan is said to be India's first 3D performance capturing film and features some big names like Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobhana, Aadi Pinisetty, R Sarath Kumar and Nassar among others. Co-produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment, the film's music is by A R Rahman. Rajiv Menon is the cinematographer. The film would be released in Tamil, Telugu, English and Malayalam.
